God’s Plan Was Never to Make You an Angel
Here’s how it is: God’s plan was never to create angels instead of humans.
Genesis 1:28 says it clearly: “Be fruitful and multiply.”
That’s a human thing – to live, to have children, to leave a legacy.
Angels don’t do that. Jesus confirms this in Matthew 22:30, saying that those who are raised from the dead will be like the angels, who neither marry nor have children.
That means you were created mortal, meant to live a short, vibrant human life – not an eternal, angelic one.
And here’s what’s striking: God looked at all this and said that it was good (Genesis 1:31).
Not a mistake. Not a curse. Good.
He gave you a spark from Himself – a conscience that knows what is right and what is not, the freedom to choose your path, and the calling to make the world better, not to dominate it.
This is God’s eternal plan: a human life, short but full of meaning, in which you decide how to shine.
The False Story of “Lost Immortality”
Some people misunderstand things, clinging to old myths like the story of the Garden of Eden, claiming that humans were created immortal until an “original sin” brought death into the world.
That is not God’s plan – it’s a Greek-style story, invented by philosophers in Alexandria who wanted to sound profound.
They slipped the second creation story into Genesis 2–3, but that is not the original one.
Want proof?
Look at the Sabbath, straight from God’s Law in Exodus 20:8–11.
It is tied to the seven-day creation in Genesis 1, where God rests and declares everything good.
No mention of Eden.
No “original sin.”
No lost immortality.
For Moses, sin meant breaking God’s Law given at Sinai – not a scene with a piece of fruit in some distant past.
The story of Eden, the Flood, the Tower of Babel?
They are Greek-style myths, not God’s core truth.

The Real Plan: Human, Mortal, and in God’s Image
God’s real plan is in Genesis 1: you are human, not an angel, with two unique gifts.
First, the image of God – a conscience that allows you to choose good, to love deeply, and to live with purpose.
Second, the capacity to multiply, to build families and legacies – something angels cannot do.
Jesus makes this crystal clear: in the resurrection, you will be like the angels, without marriage or multiplying (Matthew 22:30).
That proves it – God made you mortal from the start and called that “good.”
Any story that says you were meant to be immortal and to multiply at the same time?
That’s a lie – a false reality that directly contradicts Jesus Himself.
False Realities vs. God’s Clear Plan
You can chase those false realities if you want – religious stories about eternal souls, philosophical ideas about being “more than human,” or “scientific” explanations that carefully avoid God’s truth.
They’re just illusions – stories people invent when they don’t trust God’s clear plan.
They are not real.
