The End of the 2,300 Evenings and Mornings
The time of the end did not begin in 2020.
It had already begun more than two centuries earlier, with the French Revolution in 1789 and the decisive prophetic events of 1798.
The Revolution broke the old union between throne and Church and brought the secular order into visible political existence. In Revelation 11, this is the Beast rising from the Abyss: autonomous Philosophy acquiring a political body, institutions, laws, armies, and state power.
In the same historical period, the King of the North reappeared after a long prophetic absence.
In 1798, Napoleon invaded Egypt, captured Alexandria, and brought the power born from Revolutionary France back into the geographical field described in Daniel 11. In my interpretation, this fulfilled the beginning of Daniel 11:40, where the King of the North returns “at the time of the end.”
The time of the end is therefore not a single day or a brief future period. It is a historical era beginning with the French Revolution and extending toward the final events.
During this era, Daniel and Revelation became subjects of unprecedented public study. The two prophetic witnesses that had been attacked during the Revolution rose again through the translation, publication, and worldwide distribution of their testimony.
Yet Daniel’s central vision remained sealed.
The prophecy of Daniel 8 speaks of “two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings.” The text does not literally use the word “years,” and that wording must be preserved. But the period cannot describe 2,300 ordinary days, because the vision itself follows symbolic powers whose influence extends across kingdoms, religions, institutions, and centuries.
The ram, the goat, the horns, and their actions represent historical powers. The Little Horn rises from the Greek field, attacks the continual Revelation, casts truth to the ground, enters the Sanctuary, and continues its work until the time of the end.
Within this symbolic and historical vision, the 2,300 evenings and mornings represent 2,300 prophetic years.
The period begins at the boundary of 281/280 B.C., when the original fourfold Hellenistic arrangement disappeared and the way opened for Greek intellectual authority to expand through Alexandria. Philosophy no longer remained merely one Greek school among others. It became an international power capable of entering cultures, religious texts, education, government, and the interpretation of Revelation itself.
Calculated across the B.C.–A.D. boundary, where there is no year zero, the chronology is exact:
281 + 2020 − 1 = 2,300 years.
The 2,300 years therefore reach their appointed boundary in 2020.
That year, the entire world was suddenly interrupted.
Borders closed. Cities emptied. Schools, churches, businesses, governments, hospitals, laboratories, universities, media systems, and families were drawn into the same global crisis. Institutions claiming the ability to understand, organise, predict, and control reality were confronted by confusion, contradiction, fear, and the collapse of public trust.
The crisis was visible to everyone.
But a prophetic event does not explain itself merely by occurring.
The Seventh Trumpet was not a private sound heard by one person. The whole world experienced its public alarm from 2020 through the end of the global emergency phase in 2023. Yet most people experienced the event without understanding its place in the prophetic timeline.
Revelation 10 and 11 explain what happens at the Seventh Trumpet. The little scroll that had been sealed is now open, and the mystery announced through the prophets reaches its appointed completion.
The only prophecy explicitly sealed until the time of the end is Daniel’s vision of the 2,300 evenings and mornings. The end of the measured period therefore had to come before the vision could finally be understood.
The prophecy did not become true when it was understood.
The time ended first.
Understanding followed.
In 2024, the central symbol became clear: the Little Horn of Daniel 8 is Philosophy—the power arising from the Greek world that entered Revelation, interrupted its continual transmission, and cast truth to the ground through interpretation, syncretism, mythology, and human intellectual authority.
This identification connected the entire structure: Greece, Alexandria, the transformation of Revelation, the 2,300 years, the global crisis beginning in 2020, the open scroll, the Seventh Trumpet, and the cleansing of the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary is not a building in Jerusalem or a material Temple somewhere in heaven. It is the domain in which Revelation must retain its authority. Its cleansing is the work of separating what God revealed from the Philosophy, mythology, theology, and textual interventions that were added to it.
This work began after the vision was unsealed and continues in the present.
The world, however, is already beginning to place 2020 in the past. The emergency ended, ordinary life returned, and the memory of the global interruption is gradually fading.
That is precisely why merely living through an event is not enough.
Daniel says that the book would remain sealed until the time of the end. Jesus says, “Let the reader understand.” Revelation repeatedly calls for those who have ears to hear and for those who possess understanding to recognize the meaning of its symbols.
The difference is not between those who experienced 2020 and those who did not.
Almost everyone experienced it.
The difference is between those who read and understand and those who see the events but never recognize what time it is.
The Beast from the Abyss has already appeared. The King of the North has already returned. The prophetic time of the end has already begun. The 2,300 evenings and mornings have already reached their boundary. The Seventh Trumpet has already sounded publicly.
2020 was therefore not the end of the world.
It was the end of the measured period and the public announcement that humanity had entered the final phase of the prophecy.
What began in 2020 continues through the unsealing of Daniel in 2024 and the cleansing of the Sanctuary. The next expected transition lies ahead, within the prophetic horizons connected with 2027 and 2031: the fall of Economic Babylon, the collapse of confidence in the present secular order, and the rise of the final system described in Revelation.
Those dates are not written explicitly in the prophecy and must remain open to historical verification. But the sequence leading to them is no longer hidden in an indefinite future.
Those who understand the completed prophetic timeline know where the world now stands.
They know what time it is.
The rest may understand only when the next event arrives—and by then, the world may already have entered a crisis from which there is no return to the order that existed before.
