Appendix C — Chronology, Historical Evidence, and Testable Conclusions

The Purpose of This Appendix

Appendix A explained the method and terminology used in this edition. Appendix B presented the principal textual reconstructions proposed through MEKORAH.

This final appendix addresses three additional questions:

  • How is the 2,300-year chronology calculated?
  • Why do I identify the Little Horn of Daniel 8 with Philosophy and Economic Babylon with London?
  • How can the future conclusions of this interpretation be tested rather than endlessly adjusted?

The purpose is not to repeat every historical argument presented in the chapters. It is to gather the chronological structure, the main historical criteria, and the conditions of verification in one place.

A calculation alone cannot prove an interpretation. A date becomes significant only when the historical event at the beginning, the prophetic characteristics throughout the period, and the event at the end form one coherent sequence.

In the same way, a future event should not be declared fulfilled merely because it resembles one isolated symbol. The historical order must correspond to the prophetic order.

Part I — The 2,300-Year Chronology

The Prophetic Period

Daniel 8 presents a power that rises after the division of the Greek kingdom and continues until the time of the end.

This power:

  • grows beyond its original political setting;
  • exalts itself against the heavenly order;
  • casts truth to the ground;
  • interrupts the continual flow associated with divine Revelation;
  • tramples the Sanctuary and the host;
  • acts through intelligence, interpretation, and deception;
  • continues for 2,300 evenings and mornings;
  • reaches its appointed boundary without being destroyed through ordinary human power.

In my interpretation, this Little Horn is not another short-lived military kingdom. It is autonomous Philosophy—the intellectual authority that claimed the right to judge, reinterpret, reorganise, and replace Revelation.

The 2,300 evenings and mornings are therefore read as 2,300 historical years.

The Exact Calculation

The exact chronological interval used in this book is:

281 BC → AD 2020

Because there is no year zero between 1 BC and AD 1, the calculation is:

281 + 2020 − 1 = 2,300 years

The subtraction of one year is necessary because the historical calendar passes directly from 1 BC to AD 1.

For simplicity, some earlier explanations used approximately 280 BC:

approximately 280 BC + 2,300 years = AD 2020

This rounded expression is useful for recognising the general period, but it is not the exact calculation.

The exact year used in the chronology is 281 BC.

What the Calculation Proves—and What It Does Not Prove

Once the two boundaries are accepted, the arithmetic is exact.

The real interpretive questions are:

  • Why should the period begin in 281 BC?
  • What historical dominion begins at that boundary?
  • Why should the period end in AD 2020?
  • What prophetic event reaches its appointed limit at that time?

The number itself cannot answer these questions.

An interpretation would be circular if it began by choosing AD 2020 and then searched backward for any event located 2,300 years earlier.

The chronology becomes meaningful only if the beginning independently corresponds with the rise of the prophetic power and the endpoint independently corresponds with the completion announced by Daniel and Revelation.

Why the Period Begins in 281 BC

Beyond the Four Hellenistic Horns

Daniel 8 begins with recognisable political powers:

  • the ram;
  • the goat;
  • the great horn;
  • the four horns that replace it.

The Little Horn emerges after this fourfold Hellenistic structure has been established and begins to pass beyond the normal limits of one kingdom.

The year 281 BC marks the collapse of the final attempt to reunite the principal territories of Alexander’s empire under one surviving successor. The fourfold political order had reached its historical boundary.

My chronology therefore does not begin with the birth of Greek thought, the life of one philosopher, or the construction of one building.

It begins when the prophecy moves beyond the four Hellenistic horns and the enduring intellectual power becomes historically distinguishable from the kingdoms through which it acts.

Athens as Birthplace, Alexandria as Throne

Philosophy was not born in Alexandria.

Its schools, categories, political theories, metaphysics, and claims to autonomous knowledge had already developed in the Greek world, especially in Athens.

Alexandria performed another function.

In my historical reconstruction:

  • Athens was the birthplace of Philosophy;
  • Alexandria became its throne;
  • the Library represented its institutional authority;
  • the translation and interpretation of Hebrew texts gave it access to Revelation;
  • the Septuagint became the principal doorway through which Greek categories entered the sacred archive.

The decisive change was not simply that Greek-speaking people read Hebrew writings.

The change occurred when Philosophy acquired the authority to:

  • translate Revelation;
  • select its vocabulary;
  • interpret its symbols;
  • combine it with mythology;
  • reorganise its narratives;
  • judge its moral claims through metaphysical categories.

From that point, Philosophy no longer stood only outside Revelation as an opponent. It could act inside religion as an interpreter.

The Date Is a Boundary, Not a Single-Day Event

The year 281 BC should not be misunderstood as a claim that every part of the philosophical transformation occurred during one calendar year.

Historical dominions develop through processes:

  • institutions are founded;
  • scholars move between political centres;
  • texts are translated;
  • schools gain prestige;
  • new terminology becomes normal;
  • religious authorities accept foreign categories.

The prophecy nevertheless requires a chronological boundary.

In my interpretation, 281 BC is that boundary because it marks the transition from the fourfold Hellenistic political arrangement to the enduring intellectual dominion that would survive the kingdoms themselves.

Why Philosophy Fits the Little Horn

Philosophy Is Not Merely an Abstract Idea

One possible objection is that Philosophy is too abstract to be represented by a horn.

This objection would be valid if Philosophy meant only private thought or the human use of reason.

That is not how the term is used in this book.

Autonomous Philosophy acts through organised historical forms:

  • schools;
  • academies;
  • libraries;
  • religious interpreters;
  • universities;
  • courts and legal systems;
  • political advisers;
  • churches;
  • states;
  • scientific and expert institutions;
  • systems controlling education and public language.

It produces rulers, institutions, doctrines, laws, and methods of governing.

A kingdom rules territory through armies. Philosophy rules human understanding by defining what may be accepted as truth, reality, knowledge, morality, and legitimate authority.

Two Forms of the Same Dominion

Philosophy acted through two principal forms.

Autonomous Philosophy

Autonomous Philosophy stood openly outside Revelation.

It claimed the right to explain:

  • the universe;
  • human nature;
  • justice;
  • political order;
  • good and evil;
  • the nature of God;
  • the proper government of society

without accepting Revelation as the final authority.

Syncretic Philosophy

Syncretic Philosophy entered religion from within.

It retained biblical words while changing their meanings:

  • the Anointed One became an ontological being;
  • delegated authority became divine nature;
  • anointing became incarnation;
  • the murder of Jesus became a sacrifice demanded by God;
  • human responsibility was replaced by inherited guilt;
  • forgiveness became dependent upon blood payment;
  • contradiction was elevated into mystery;
  • moral Revelation was subordinated to metaphysical doctrine.

The two forms sometimes opposed each other politically and religiously.

Their conflict does not mean that one belonged to Revelation and the other opposed it. Both claimed the right of superior knowledge to govern humanity.

Truth Cast to the Ground

A military ruler can destroy cities, armies, archives, and institutions.

Philosophy performs another kind of conquest.

It can preserve a sacred text physically while changing what the text is understood to mean.

Truth can therefore be cast to the ground without every manuscript being burned.

The text may remain publicly honoured while:

  • mythology is inserted into it;
  • foreign concepts define its vocabulary;
  • theology reverses its moral logic;
  • institutions claim exclusive authority to interpret it;
  • contradictions are protected as sacred mysteries;
  • the received form is declared infallible.

This explains why the Little Horn can act across many kingdoms and religious systems without being identical to any one of them.

Why the Main Alternatives Are Insufficient

Antiochus Epiphanes

Antiochus provides a visible historical example of persecution, desecration, and interference with Jewish worship.

He may correspond to elements of the immediate political environment of Daniel 8.

He does not, however, explain the complete prophetic system used in this book:

  • a dominion lasting 2,300 years;
  • truth cast to the ground across civilisations;
  • an intellectual power surviving the Hellenistic kingdoms;
  • the alteration of Revelation from within;
  • the connection with the sealed prophecy opened at the time of the Seventh Trumpet.

A short military reign cannot account for the full historical duration and intellectual character of the horn.

Rome

Rome is central to Daniel and Revelation, but it already possesses its own symbolic position as the final Beast of Daniel 7 and as the Roman head of the composite Beast in Revelation 13.

Rome institutionalised domination through:

  • law;
  • military authority;
  • taxation;
  • citizenship;
  • administration;
  • imperial religion.

But Rome inherited and used Philosophy. It did not originate the entire intellectual dominion represented by the Little Horn of Daniel 8.

Identifying the horn only with Rome would make it difficult to explain how the same power operated before Rome’s supremacy and continued after the political empire changed form.

The Papacy

In my interpretation, the papacy is already represented by the Little Horn of Daniel 7 and by the mouth granted to the Beast for forty-two months.

Its principal period of political-religious authority is 538–1798.

The papacy used Philosophy, Roman institutional structures, imperial law, religious hierarchy, and theological control. It was one major historical expression of the wider dominion.

It cannot be the entire Little Horn of Daniel 8 because:

  • the 2,300-year period begins centuries before Christianity;
  • the philosophical attack upon Revelation begins before the papal institution;
  • autonomous Philosophy continues after papal political supremacy is broken;
  • modern secular systems preserve the same claim of superior knowledge without submitting to the Church.

Why Philosophy Provides the Larger Continuity

Philosophy can act through:

  • Hellenistic Judaism;
  • the religious system that condemned Jesus;
  • Pauline and post-Pauline Christianity;
  • the Roman Empire;
  • the papal system;
  • the Renaissance;
  • the Enlightenment;
  • the modern secular state;
  • expert and technological systems.

The institutions change. The ruling principle remains:

Those who possess superior knowledge claim the right to define truth and govern those considered incapable of governing themselves.

This continuity is why I identify Philosophy, rather than one temporary king or institution, as the Little Horn of Daniel 8.

What Ended in AD 2020?

Philosophy Did Not Physically Disappear

The end of the 2,300-year period does not mean that Philosophy, universities, churches, governments, media organisations, corporations, courts, or scientific institutions ceased to exist in AD 2020.

Prophetic periods frequently mark the end of an appointed dominion rather than the immediate physical disappearance of every structure created during that dominion.

In my interpretation, what ended in 2020 was Philosophy’s appointed period as the hidden and largely unchallenged authority that could:

  • shape Revelation;
  • define public reality;
  • claim superior knowledge;
  • govern through the prestige of expertise;
  • present its institutions as neutral arbiters of truth.

The Global Crisis as Exposure

The global crisis of 2020 exposed how knowledge and institutional authority could become instruments of power.

Governments and expert structures spoke in the language of certainty while:

  • rules changed;
  • official conclusions contradicted earlier conclusions;
  • public disagreement was restricted;
  • access and participation were conditioned;
  • moral pressure was joined to administrative enforcement.

This does not mean that every action taken during the crisis was false or that every scientific conclusion was corrupt.

The prophetic significance lies in the exposure of the mechanism:

knowledge presented as unquestionable authority can become a political instrument for managing human participation.

The Seventh Trumpet Opens a Phase

The Seventh Trumpet does not require every final event to become visibly complete during the year 2020.

A trumpet announces and opens a prophetic phase.

Revelation 11 connects the Seventh Trumpet with:

  • the Kingdom of God and His Anointed;
  • the anger of the nations;
  • the time of judgment;
  • the reward of the faithful;
  • the destruction of those who destroy the earth.

In my interpretation, 2020 marks the appointed boundary at which this final phase became active and irreversible.

2020 and 2024 Are Not the Same Event

The completion of a prophecy and the later understanding of that completion must be distinguished.

AD 2020

In my chronology:

  • the 2,300-year period ended;
  • the Seventh Trumpet sounded;
  • Philosophy’s appointed dominion reached its boundary;
  • the final phase of exposure and judgment began.

AD 2024

In 2024:

  • the identification of the Little Horn with Philosophy became clear in my interpretation;
  • the relationship between Daniel 8 and the Seventh Trumpet was articulated publicly;
  • the complete 281 BC–AD 2020 chronology was formulated;
  • the restoration of Revelation became understandable as the reversal of Philosophy’s historical work.

The prophecy did not begin to be fulfilled in 2024 merely because I understood it then.

Nor does the fact that the interpretation became clear after 2020 invalidate the chronology.

A sealed prophecy can be understood fully only after the history necessary to identify its beginning, development, and endpoint has become visible.

The Principal Chronological Anchors

281 BC

The beginning of the 2,300-year dominion of the Little Horn in my interpretation.

The fourfold Hellenistic political structure reaches its boundary, and Alexandria emerges as the decisive intellectual centre through which Greek Philosophy enters the interpretation of Revelation.

AD 538

The beginning of the principal 1,260-year period of papal political-religious authority in my interpretation of Daniel 7 and Revelation.

AD 1798

The end of the 1,260-year papal period and the breaking of Religious Babylon’s appointed political dominion.

This date does not destroy religion or the papal institution. It marks the end of a particular form of direct religious-political supremacy.

AD 2020

The end of the 2,300-year period and the sounding of the Seventh Trumpet.

AD 2024

The sealed prophecy was understood: the Little Horn was identified as Philosophy, the 281 BC–AD 2020 chronology became clear, and the interpretation was then articulated publicly.

March 2027

The boundary by which I expect a decisive historical signal concerning London’s role as Economic Babylon.

2027–2031

The principal interval during which the larger sequence involving Economic Babylon, the American Beast, the image, the mark, and conditional economic participation must become historically testable.

Part II — Economic Babylon and the Final Sequence

Why Revelation 18 Describes a Different Babylon

Revelation 17 and Revelation 18 should not be treated as two descriptions of exactly the same institution.

Religious Babylon is characterised by:

  • sacred authority;
  • alliance with political power;
  • religious intoxication;
  • persecution;
  • domination through doctrine and institution.

Economic Babylon is characterised by:

  • merchants;
  • ships;
  • cargoes;
  • luxury;
  • international trade;
  • financial dependence;
  • the buying and selling of human bodies and souls;
  • a sudden collapse that causes worldwide mourning.

The second description is economic from beginning to end.

Its principal mourners are not priests and theologians but:

  • kings who benefited from its prosperity;
  • merchants who became rich through it;
  • shipmasters and maritime traders;
  • those whose economic life depended upon the city.

Why I Identify London

In my historical interpretation, London fulfils the role of Economic Babylon because it became the centre of a system combining:

  • maritime empire;
  • global trade;
  • shipping;
  • insurance;
  • banking;
  • credit;
  • contracts;
  • commercial law;
  • offshore structures;
  • international financial dependence.

The territorial British Empire receded, but the commercial and financial network centred upon London continued to operate.

The prophetic city therefore should not be reduced to municipal boundaries.

“London” identifies the historical city and the wider system developed around it:

  • the imperial capital;
  • the City of London;
  • the British commercial network;
  • the legal and financial structures inherited from the empire;
  • the international system connected with them.

Why America Is Not Economic Babylon

In my interpretation, the United States has a different prophetic role.

America is the Beast from the Earth that later possesses the capacity to condition buying and selling.

If America were the city destroyed in Revelation 18, the sequence would lose the power required to impose the final mechanism.

The second Beast does not need to be Economic Babylon. It needs Economic Babylon to fall.

After the London-centred node is broken, American systems may become more difficult to avoid:

  • currency and clearing structures;
  • sanctions;
  • digital platforms;
  • military power;
  • technological infrastructure;
  • control over international access.

From Wine to Mark

Economic Babylon governs through wine.

Its power is based upon:

  • prosperity;
  • consumption;
  • credit;
  • debt;
  • comfort;
  • fear of economic loss;
  • dependence upon the system.

People submit because the system appears to sustain life.

The final Beast governs through the mark.

Its power is based upon direct permission:

  • who may buy;
  • who may sell;
  • who may work;
  • who may receive payment;
  • who may travel;
  • who may participate in organised society.

The collapse of prosperity does not automatically produce freedom.

It can produce fear, and fear can be used to justify a harder system of control.

When the wine no longer works, the Beast offers permission.

The Mark Is Not Automatically a Technology

A card, chip, telephone, account, biometric system, digital identity, or digital currency is not automatically the mark of the Beast.

The moral character of the mark lies in the authority accepted through the mechanism.

The decisive question is:

Does a human system claim the right to decide who may participate in economic and social life, and does participation require submission to its ideological and political authority?

Technology may implement the mark. Technology alone does not define it.

The Forehead and the Hand

The forehead represents:

  • accepted identity;
  • conviction;
  • interpretation;
  • moral agreement;
  • recognition of authority.

The hand represents:

  • action;
  • work;
  • participation;
  • practical obedience;
  • compliance without complete inward agreement.

The system does not require every person to believe its entire ideology. It requires obedience sufficient to make the mechanism function.

The Three Historical Forms of Babylon

Religious Babylon

Religious Babylon governs through:

  • sacred office;
  • dogma;
  • church hierarchy;
  • alliance with political authority;
  • control of conscience;
  • claims of exclusive access to salvation and truth.

Its appointed political domination was broken through the revolutionary crisis culminating in 1798.

Economic Babylon

Economic Babylon governs through:

  • trade;
  • shipping;
  • finance;
  • credit;
  • debt;
  • luxury;
  • global commercial dependence.

In my interpretation, its historical city is London.

Totalitarian Babylon

Totalitarian Babylon arises after the economic centre is broken.

It no longer governs primarily by offering prosperity. It governs through:

  • the image;
  • the mark;
  • ideological conformity;
  • direct economic permission;
  • administrative and technological exclusion.

The economic city falls, but the Babylonian principle of human domination reaches its final political form.

How London May Fall

The prophecy describes a rapid and devastating collapse but does not require the interpreter to manufacture the exact mechanism before history reveals it.

Possible elements may include:

  • external military pressure;
  • a direct strike;
  • financial rupture;
  • political crisis;
  • internal revolt;
  • social breakdown;
  • withdrawal of former allies;
  • several of these events occurring together.

The language of fire may describe a literal attack, a technological or strategic event, a major urban destruction, or a combined collapse in which fire becomes the visible instrument.

The precise mechanism remains open.

The prophetic function is more important than prematurely naming the weapon:

  • the city must fall rapidly;
  • the economic consequences must be international;
  • those who profited from it must mourn from a distance;
  • the old commercial centre must not be rescued;
  • the fall must prepare the transition toward the harder final system.

Part III — Testable Conclusions

Why the Interpretation Must Be Falsifiable

A prophetic interpretation becomes ideology when it protects itself from every possible historical outcome.

If every event can be declared a fulfilment, and every failure can be explained by changing the symbols afterward, the interpretation has no testable meaning.

My conclusions must therefore remain exposed to history.

The prophecy should not be preserved by:

  • moving the dates whenever the expected sequence fails;
  • changing London into another city after the deadline;
  • changing America into another power after the event;
  • calling every digital system the mark;
  • declaring every economic crisis the fall of Babylon;
  • redefining “fall” so broadly that nothing can disprove it.

The First Test — A Decisive Signal by March 2027

I expect a decisive historical signal concerning London and its role as Economic Babylon by March 2027.

A “signal” does not necessarily mean that every element of Revelation 18 must be completed by that date.

It must, however, be more than:

  • an ordinary recession;
  • a temporary stock-market decline;
  • a local protest;
  • a routine election;
  • a minor banking problem;
  • a general statement that Western economies are weakening.

For the signal to be meaningful, London must become visibly connected with a crisis involving several characteristics assigned to Economic Babylon:

  • its financial and commercial role;
  • its relationship with international merchants and capital;
  • its global economic dependence;
  • its vulnerability to sudden judgment;
  • the unwillingness or inability of former beneficiaries to save it.

The Larger Test — 2027–2031

I expect the larger sequence to become historically testable during the 2027–2031 interval.

The order is:

  1. London occupies the role of Economic Babylon.
  2. Its fall or decisive breaking damages the old economic centre.
  3. The United States remains standing as the power capable of organising the next mechanism.
  4. Economic participation moves toward direct permission.
  5. The image and mark acquire practical, ideological, and coercive meaning.

The sequence matters as much as the individual events.

A digital control mechanism appearing without the fall of Economic Babylon may demonstrate technological capacity, but it does not by itself confirm the prophetic order proposed in this book.

A crisis in London without the rise of the harder American mechanism may provide partial evidence, but it does not complete the sequence.

Criteria for Full Confirmation

The interpretation would receive strong confirmation if the following elements occur in the expected order:

  • London becomes unmistakably identifiable as the economic city under judgment;
  • its collapse produces international mourning and systemic economic shock;
  • the old financial-commercial centre is not restored to its former position;
  • the United States remains capable of imposing international economic conditions;
  • participation in economic life becomes increasingly dependent upon explicit administrative permission;
  • the mechanism is joined to ideological allegiance or practical submission;
  • the transition occurs within the announced interval.

Criteria for Partial Confirmation

Partial confirmation would include situations such as:

  • London undergoes a severe systemic crisis but does not yet collapse;
  • the City of London loses significant international authority while the larger sequence remains incomplete;
  • American economic control increases after a British crisis, but the image and mark do not yet become coercive;
  • permission-based systems expand, but London’s prophetic role remains uncertain;
  • the expected events occur, but not in the proposed order.

Partial confirmation must not be presented as complete fulfilment.

It may justify continued observation, but it does not remove the conditions of falsification.

Criteria Requiring Fundamental Revision

The interpretation must be rejected or fundamentally revised if, by the end of the announced interval:

  • London does not occupy the role assigned to Economic Babylon;
  • no decisive breaking of the London-centred economic system occurs;
  • the fall of London does not prepare a harder permission-based system;
  • the United States does not occupy the enforcing role assigned to the Beast from the Earth;
  • another city or power clearly fulfils the complete description while London does not;
  • the proposed sequence must be rearranged after the events in order to appear correct.

The prophecy cannot remain falsifiable in theory while being protected from falsification in practice.

Testing the 281 BC–AD 2020 Chronology

The historical chronology also has conditions of validity.

The Chronology Is Strengthened If:

  • 281 BC remains a defensible boundary between the four Hellenistic horns and the enduring intellectual dominion;
  • Alexandria can be shown to function as the institutional throne through which Greek Philosophy entered Revelation;
  • the characteristics of the Little Horn correspond consistently to Philosophy across the entire period;
  • the identification explains developments before Rome, during Rome, through papal Christianity, and in the secular modern world;
  • AD 2020 corresponds with the end of the appointed dominion rather than an arbitrary chosen date;
  • the Seventh Trumpet sequence coherently follows the completion of Daniel’s sealed period.

The Chronology Is Weakened If:

  • 281 BC is selected only because it produces AD 2020;
  • the beginning has no independent historical significance;
  • Philosophy cannot be distinguished from the kingdoms through which it acts;
  • the horn’s characteristics fit another historical power more completely;
  • the interpretation requires different definitions of the horn in different centuries;
  • AD 2020 has no meaningful relationship with the completion of the prophetic dominion.

The Chronology Is Not Proved by Arithmetic Alone

The equation:

281 + 2020 − 1 = 2,300

proves only the length of the interval.

The interpretation depends upon the historical identity of both boundaries and the continuity of the power between them.

This distinction must remain clear in any serious audit of the book.

Historical Facts, Interpretations, and Predictions

For clarity, the evidence used in this book should be divided into three categories.

Historical Facts

These include events and developments that can be examined independently of the prophetic interpretation:

  • the division and final collapse of Alexander’s successor system;
  • the intellectual role of Athens and Alexandria;
  • the translation of Hebrew writings into Greek;
  • the development of Hellenistic Judaism;
  • the rise of Roman imperial authority;
  • the development of the Latin Church;
  • the period of papal political power;
  • the revolutionary crisis ending in 1798;
  • the British maritime and commercial empire;
  • London’s continuing financial role;
  • the growth of American economic, technological, and military power.

Historical Interpretations

These are my conclusions connecting the facts with prophecy:

  • Philosophy is the Little Horn of Daniel 8;
  • 281 BC begins the 2,300-year period;
  • the papacy is the Little Horn of Daniel 7;
  • 1798 ends its appointed period;
  • the United States is the Beast from the Earth;
  • London is Economic Babylon;
  • AD 2020 marks the Seventh Trumpet.

Predictions

These concern events that remain future at the time of writing:

  • a decisive signal involving London by March 2027;
  • the breaking of Economic Babylon;
  • the rise of a harder American enforcement mechanism;
  • the movement from economic dependence toward direct permission;
  • the test of the larger sequence during 2027–2031.

These categories must not be confused.

A historical fact does not automatically prove the prophetic interpretation. A prophetic interpretation does not become a historical fact merely because it is stated confidently. A prediction does not become fulfilled until the announced criteria are present.

Limitations and Open Questions

The present interpretation still contains unresolved questions.

The Exact Historical Development around 281 BC

The year functions as a chronological boundary, but the philosophical entry into Revelation developed through a process extending across institutions, translations, scholars, and political changes.

The exact dating of every stage remains open to further historical documentation.

The Exact Mechanism of London’s Fall

The prophecy may be fulfilled through war, revolt, financial rupture, political collapse, abandonment by allies, or a combination of causes.

The mechanism should not be declared certain before the event.

The Exact Form of the Image

The Constantinian Cross joined to the claim In hoc signo vinces is presently the strongest candidate in my interpretation.

It should not be declared the completed image until it receives the institutional authority, public voice, and coercive function described by the prophecy.

The Exact Technical Instrument of the Mark

The technology remains open.

The moral and political principle is clearer than the device:

participation becomes conditional upon submission to human authority.

The Exact Relationship among the Final Powers

The sequence distinguishes:

  • Religious Babylon;
  • Economic Babylon;
  • the Beast from the Abyss;
  • the Beast from the Earth;
  • the image;
  • the mark;
  • the final totalitarian order.

Their complete historical interaction can be confirmed only as the final events develop.

Textual Questions Still Open

The following textual matters remain open or only partially resolved:

  • the exact historical limits of certain shorter prophetic periods, including the five months in Revelation 9;
  • the precise identity of all ten horns in the final configurations of the Beast;
  • the complete editorial history of certain isolated verses whose displacement is probable but not supported by early external witnesses;
  • the exact original positions of authentic fragments preserved inside Revelation 19:11–21;
  • the precise verse-by-verse recovery of the Temple passages and the internal boundary within Revelation 21;
  • the exact editorial relationship among the heavenly Temple, the measured New Jerusalem, the river, and the Tree of Life.

These open questions do not alter the central chronological structure of 281 BC–AD 2020, the principal identification of the Little Horn of Daniel 8, or the main line of my historical interpretation. They identify areas in which further work may refine the textual reconstruction.

Why Open Questions Do Not Cancel the Entire Interpretation

A historical model should not be rejected merely because every secondary detail has not yet been settled.

At the same time, uncertainty should not be hidden.

The interpretation must distinguish between:

  • the central structure;
  • strong historical identifications;
  • probable reconstructions;
  • open secondary questions;
  • future predictions.

The central structure proposed in this book is:

  1. Greek Philosophy enters the world of Revelation.
  2. Truth is cast to the ground through reinterpretation and mythological insertion.
  3. Philosophy acts through religious and political systems.
  4. Religious Babylon reaches its appointed political boundary in 1798.
  5. Philosophy’s 2,300-year dominion reaches its boundary in 2020.
  6. Economic Babylon is exposed as the next system awaiting judgment.
  7. Its collapse prepares the harder final order.
  8. The image and mark transform economic participation into permission.
  9. The bowls destroy the final system.
  10. God judges humanity according to works.
  11. Death itself is abolished.

Individual details may require correction without destroying this entire sequence.

But if the central historical order fails—especially the announced relationship between London, America, economic permission, and the 2027–2031 interval—the interpretation must be fundamentally reconsidered.

Final Conclusion

The chronology of this book is not based upon numbers alone.

It rests upon a proposed historical identity:

The Little Horn is Philosophy—the intellectual king that entered Revelation, cast truth to the ground, and ruled through changing religious and political systems for 2,300 years.

The exact period is:

281 BC → AD 2020

AD 2020 marks the end of the appointed dominion and the sounding of the Seventh Trumpet.

AD 2024 marks the public articulation of the interpretation.

The next historical test concerns Economic Babylon:

London must occupy the role assigned to the great economic city, its fall must break the old centre, and the United States must remain capable of organising the harder system in which participation becomes permission.

The decisive interval is 2027–2031.

If the sequence is confirmed, the interpretation will have produced a testable historical result before the events were completed.

If it fails, the meaning should not be changed afterward merely to preserve the theory.

Prophecy must remain answerable to history.
